Happy Epiphany! Yes, it's very *exciting* but it means that we have to take down our tree ;-( Let's just say my family is procrastinating majorly with that and we even listened to our Christmas music at dinner, so I guess tomorrow we'll finally deal with it. Fortunately, we decided to forego the tinsle this year and it will be less messy.
I started working full time last week at Atkins West and I've learned how intense sitting in front of a computer can be. I was late one day because I forgot to set my alarm in the evening. My Mom came into my room at 8am and asked if I was supposed to be going yet...I think I need to write myself a notice by my bed, otherwise I suspect I will be late more than once ;-p We had a German girl, Kathrin, doing a practicum with us and helping us to revamp our filing system. There's still a lot of work to be done but I was really glad to have her there to make less work for me in that regard.
Yesterday I went cross-country skiing with my Dad in Peter Lougheed Park. It was fun minus that I got huge blisters on my heels which popped and then bled through my socks. I've learned that my Mom's boots are too big for me lol. I really wanted to see a moose but alas, it was not to be. Mind you, when you start skiing at 11am the moose have probably all gone away from the ski tracks because some people are noisy. It would be really exciting though, if later in the spring I got to see one. If someone wants to go skiing, let me know ;-)
I feel like being random and so I'm going to insert a picture from this past summer at Prague. We meet two really awesome couples from Manchester on one tour among seeing some amazing history. I would be happy to go back to Prague and well to other European locations for that matter, but right now I get to be here in Canada and save up some money. Oh, and wait for my transfer credits of doom...the university is being difficult to say the least. I hope that wishing to convocate in June is not overly ambitious.
Well, I should probably go and exercise now...tomorrow at dance is going to be brutal. Not that anyone will read this *excitement*. Einen schoenen Tag!
