Coming home...

I spend way too much time sitting and *planning* what to bring, what I need to do, etc....this I have determined this week as I have begun getting ready for my trip. I am super super *excited* and also tired because I've been staying up later to read a book or get up to make phone calls, etc. Nothing like a good night's sleep, which I intend for tonight. But first I get to do some laundry and that means I have to decide what I want to take home with me. *ahhh* Yes, back to the planning. I got my rain coat back today and that was nice because now I don't have to worry about it or pushing the limits of my sad-looking umbrella. I met with Clarice today and we did a little bit of tap dance before we came into town with another girl, LInda, for ice cream and then bratwurst. So I spent some money I know, but what was cool, the people at the bratwurst stand were willing to cut my bread for me so that I could eat my wurst on bread as opposed to just by itself...I wasn't sure if they would do such a thing but I'm glad that they did. I have a hard enough time saying no to baked goods, I don't need more issues by eating a bun lol. Tomorrow I'm going to a lunch at International Connection and that should be *exciting*. I also get to call the airline tomorrow to check my flight...maybe I can even go and buy my train ticket too--yay for feeling like being productive ;-p At least it has stopped raining now and I can see part of the sunset through the clouds. I hope that you have a more *exciting* day Bean...ich wuensche euch einen schoenen Tag noch :-) Bis bald.

yay! for getting your rain coat back! Which umbrella did you take with Germany to you? Is it the blue/green/yellow one? that one was very pretty, but it wasn't very functional as the supports were quite weak. (sorry about the analysis... in my defense I've just spent the last while analysing (in hopefully engineering ways) this section of our project, so this is my mind set at the moment. haha. moment. Okay, I'll be quiet.)

That was really nice of the people at the Bratwurst stand... those stands are exciting...

I hope you have much fun arranging all your stuff. And I'll see you on tuesday(!!!).

O yeah, I should tell you in advance, I need the car on Friday night (ie. the 7th) for the TEC meeting, for I can't get a ride with Ian, for he's not working this TEC). haha

    have fun!
